Latitude 34.13 Longitude 118.14 is a site-specific sound sculpture. The wood beam with six speakers represents a core sample of the location where it sits as the steel arm pulls the core out of the ground. The audio runs on a ten-minute loop, consists of dinosaur howling, tree rustling, weathers, farming equipment, different human activity, train, factory, gas holder, and fragments of machinery with human conversation. Meanwhile the top speaker plays a delayed live sound of the location.
