Work in Progress is a kinetic sculpture that focuses on different machine parts working together to create a painting that will never exist in a fixed state. A constant stream of water on the painting surface interrupts the painting process; carries away the ink that was deposited by the brush that moves in the x and y-axis, governed by micro-computer.
Work in Progress explores the state of fluidity. During the process of generating movement, unpredictable glitches occur in the program, thus uncovers the dysfunction of its seemingly functional object.
